Warwick Corvette Double Buck. WARWICK has added another bass to its ever-growing collection. The Corvette Double Buck is a welcome adaptation of the already hugely successful Corvette series. It houses a massive array of bass tones and is a virtual chameleon of classic basses combined with modern features and playability. Even though it cosmetically resembles other Corvette models, the Double Buck gets its massive array of tones from its unique pickup and electronics package. There are two passive MEC Dual coil humbuckers nestled closely in the center of the body covering the entire harmonic sweet spots of the bass guitar. These can be accessed via the two mini switches, one dedicated to each pickup which allow you to coil tap each humbucker in a variety if ways. To give the Double Buck total control of its flexibility, the passive pickups are matched to an MEC 2-band active/passive switching preamp, making this bass a true active/passive hybrid bass offering the best of both worlds. A select swamp ash body for warmth and snap, a trademark ovangkol neck for strength and growl, bell brass frets for resonance and longevity and the Warwick 2 piece bridge for maxium adjustment, tonal transmission and sustain – all these elements blend beautifully to create the perfect performance palate for you no matter what style of music you play. Black hardware is fitted standard MEC Dual coil passive humbuckers play a massive part in the BIG sound of the Double Buck.   Warwick's famous ergonomic bolt on neck joint provides excellent access to the upper playing register.
