Dominant Music would like to talk to a confident and determined sales person with ambition, vision and a positive attitude. New positions available based in NSW and QLD. Your prime role is focused on selling musical instruments and related products to an existing base of clients as well as igniting new business. Experience in the music retail, wholesale or manufacturing industry is preferred but not essential however a thorough understanding of wholesale and retail trends, proven sales track record and above all else, a hunger for success. You will be self motivated, passionate and have the ability to think outside the square.

As a Sales Representative we seek a candidate who can in no particular order:
• Have Knowledge of musical instruments and related products
• Develop business and liaise with clients to achieve results
• The ability to create new business from self initiated prospecting
• Understand the buying and selling process
• Attention to detail realizing its the small things that can make a difference
• Work with the sales team and gain the trust and respect of your clients & fellow team members
• Good negotiation and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work as a team and achieve results as a team
• Communicating effectively with clients and motivate them to achieve sales results
• Excellent phone manner
• A great sense of humor!
• Superior organizational skills
• A genuine desire to assist our customers through great customer service and follow up skills.
• The applicant needs to be computer literate in all Microsoft applications such as Excel, outlook, Access, Word and PowerPoint.

We would like to talk to a confident and determined sales person with ambition, vision and a positive attitude. This position is based at Dominant Music head office in Mitcham Victoria. It is focused on selling musical instruments and related products to an existing base of clients as well as igniting new business. You will provide service and support to an existing base of customers, end-users and sales reps providing them with what ever they require to succeed with our products and services. Further to this you will be making outbound calls to an established and new dealer base, responding to customer sales and service enquiries, inputting of sales orders into computer system and following up of customer requests for sales, service and support.

The successful candidate must have:
• A Proven track record in Sales
• The ability to create new business from self initiated prospecting;
• The ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships;
• Excellent written and verbal skills;
• Communicating effectively with clients and motivate them to achieve sales results
• Strong team approach and the ability to work under pressure;
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills;
• An extensive knowledge in musical instruments;
• Computer literacy; and
• Previous experience in sales gained within the music industry

Warehouse Position

Dominant Music has a nation wide reputation for excellence and achievement in the distribution & marketing of Musical Instruments. At Dominant Music you will find a challenging career path that is clearly pointed toward growth and equal opportunity. We are seeking a young self motivated storeman for our warehouse in Mitcham.
To be successful, you must place honesty and integrity at the highest level. Good common sense, being proactive and having the ability go beyond the call when necessary.

The candidate should have had experience in a warehouse environment, and should have:
• A Victorian driver’s license.
• A fork lift license / ticket.
• Experience dealing with Domestic and International Freight companies and
their software packages
• General Computer literacy- mainly with Microsoft Office etc….
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills;
• Strong customer focus be enthusiastic, motivated and be able to communicate effectively over the phone and face to face with both customers and internal staff members
• A good level of fitness required
• Ability to work as a team member and autonomously
• OH&S knowledge in warehouse procedures
• Musical Instrument knowledge would be a bonus but not essential

Responsibilities include:
• Picking, packing and dispatching orders
• Invoicing
• Receiving goods
• Maintain a neat and well organised warehouse
• Unloading containers and shelving of incoming goods
• Stocktaking
• Assist with customer enquiries via phone and email
• Dealing with Customer returns

We offer a great working environment in a dynamic and growing organisation. The hours Monday to Friday with overtime as and when required based on workload.
